Merino Computer Concepts, an IT and consulting company out of Lodi, California, hired us to illustrate all of their team members into super heroes as a means of reestablishing their brand for their website, LinkedIn and Facebook profile images. The images below shows our progress from photo, to sketch, to full color illustration. Taking into account the nature of their business, we had implemented some technological devices where ever possible, such as ear and microphone devices and Google Glass style eye pieces. This has been an ongoing project that we have been working on with them over the past few years, and new illustrations have been made as they make new hires.

Once the head shots were completed, the next stage of the project was to illustrate full body shots of each person and composite them into a city scene loosely inspired by the iconic Avengers photo seen here…

Last but not least, the final composite into a downtown city scene that we illustrated where we used old computer parts, monitors, servers, etc. in place of the destruction seen in the Avengers photo above. This image has changed a few times over the past few years as some employees have retired and new hires were made…
