Project Description
In an effort to enhance awareness of the benefits of technology transfer, the video created for AUTM (Association of University Technology Managers) features the people who benefit from university-developed innovations. This USF video features the Rolling Dance Chair technology created by USF faculty member Merry Lynn Morris. The video focuses on the benefits this technology provides to its users and how it can change lives. Specifically, this video displays the differences between this chair and other wheelchairs, such as the ability to be hands-free, omni-directional movement and ability to use the smart phone for control. It is also unique in that it restores psycho-social connections and provides a feeling of freedom for users, like Jessica Hendricks.
